LIVE REMOTE BROADCASTS
During her time at KSNO FM, Drolet would attend weekly newsworthy events and conduct live call-in's. This would include interviewing and conversing with the public to share the flavor of the event.
Some events would require a traditional multi-microphone set-up, while other times Drolet would go out by herself, record with a studio quality app via an iphone and then stream live over the FM airwaves. She would then take the content that was streamed live and produce edited segments to use for the morning news and different segments throughout the week.
This ability to be live in such a simplistic and mobile way, enabled Drolet to get more interesting interviews on the go. For example, pool-side, on top of a horse, 8 hours riding a gondola or even paragliding 10, 000 ft in the sky.

The Turkey Tram-A-Ganza was an annual event in which KSNO FM partnered with Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park to help raise turkeys for those in need through the local non-profit and food pantry, LIFT-UP.
Drolet would ride the Iron Mountain Tramway up to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park until one-ton of turkeys were donated. Drolet would do live broadcast every hour to update listeners on how many turkeys had been donated and interview tram riders who were along for the ride.
